1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the 3FM website, mobile player, streams, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who we are

3FM is operated by East Coast Radio Ltd, registered at Radio Centre, Killarney Road, Bray, County Wicklow, A98 R6F6, Ireland. 3FM is licensed by Coimisiún na Meán as a DAB digital sound broadcasting service serving Ireland.

3. Use of the service

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

  • Rebroadcast, record, redistribute, or commercially exploit the audio stream without written permission.
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems.
  • Use automated tools to scrape content or data from the website without permission.

4. Intellectual property

All content on the Service — including the 3FM name, logo, branding, graphics, text, schedule information, and software — is owned by East Coast Radio Ltd or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. The music played on 3FM is licensed through appropriate collecting societies and rights holders.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent, except where permitted by law.

5. User submissions

If you submit a message, request, or other content via the contact form or any other channel, you grant 3FM a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with the Service. We reserve the right to edit, refuse, or remove submissions at our discretion.

6. AI-assisted content

Some of the material published online and broadcast on-air by 3FM may be created or assisted by artificial intelligence tools. All such content remains subject to human review, and the final editorial decision on what is published or played always rests with 3FM.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the stream or website.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, East Coast Radio Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party sites.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
